Who We Are
The Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development (ISFD) is a specialized institution of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group. The Fund is dedicated to promoting socio-economic development and reducing poverty in the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. With a clear mission to lead innovative poverty reduction programs, ISFD focuses on developing partnerships that address the most pressing development challenges in IsDB member countries.
What We Do
ISFD is committed to addressing socio-economic challenges and improving the lives of people in our member countries. We target interventions with proven impact to eradicate poverty. We empower women and youth to drive economic growth, invest in human development to unlock individual potential, and support building resilient communities through access to education, healthcare, and clean energy.

Contributors
ISFD collaborates with member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) who contribute significantly to our capital. Through this strong sense of solidarity, we work together to fulfil the ISFD’s mission of alleviating poverty by empowering communities and promoting sustainable socio-economic development across the OIC least developed member countries.

Organization

The Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development (ISFD) has a unique organizational structure. It comprises three distinct units that work together to achieve the Fund's objectives. These units are:

Resource Mobilization Division: The Resource Mobilization Division will be the focal point for and lead all activities related to the Resource Mobilization function of the ISFD.
Poverty Alleviation and Empowerment Division: The Poverty Alleviation and Empowerment Division will be the focal point for all activities related to initiating, developing and monitoring development programs. These programs will be focused on poverty reduction related sectors and areas identified within the ISFD strategy such as human capital development, economic empowerment, and other areas that may emerge given the socioeconomic conditions of member countries.
Technical Support Section: The Technical Support Section, in full coordination with the ISFD DG, will be the focal point for all activities related to the effective and efficient management of ISFD.
