Who We Are
The Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development (ISFD) is a special fund at the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group. The Fund is dedicated to promoting socio-economic development and reducing poverty in the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. With a clear mission to lead innovative poverty reduction programs, ISFD focuses on developing partnerships that address the most pressing development challenges in IsDB member countries.

ISFD is committed to addressing socio-economic challenges and improving the lives of people in our member countries. We target interventions with proven impact to eradicate poverty. We empower women and youth to drive economic growth, invest in human development to unlock individual potential, and support building resilient communities through access to education, healthcare, and clean energy.

Current Projects

The Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development (ISFD) has supported Azerbaijan's economic diversification efforts through impactful projects in both agriculture and energy sectors. The Integrated Rural Development Project empowers rural communities by fostering sustainable agricultural practices and improving access to essential resources. This not only enhances food security but also strengthens the livelihoods of rural populations. Additionally, the ISFD's involvement in the Rain Energy project contributes to Azerbaijan's energy diversification efforts.
