Benin is a small West African country of 115762 km2 with 11.4 million people, 40% residing in urban areas. Since 1990, the country has embraced peaceful democratic transitions.

The Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development (ISFD) stands alongside Benin on its journey of progress. Through initiatives like the Integrated Agriculture Value Chain Development Project and the Smallholders Agricultural Productivity Enhancement Program, ISFD empowers rural communities by building sustainable agricultural practices and boosting productivity.

Current Projects

The Integrated Microfinance Support Program gives loans and other financial services to people in need. This helps them start businesses and improve their lives, fostering the economy overall. Additionally, the LLF-Community Health Resources and Nutrition project strengthens healthcare infrastructure and access for vulnerable populations. Finally, the ISFD Waqf Project in Benin leverages the power of Waqf endowments for long-term social and economic development.
